The fan group of the popular South African Maskandi musician known as Mthandeni Igcokama Elisha Manqele is set to officially launch a Zimbabwean fan branch in Berea on the 27th of November 2016, starting from 10am.

Switchbod Arts Magazine learns that the artist is currently enjoying a large following exhibited by his social networks cutting across all platforms . One of the fan group administrative secretary Diana Zulu said they are expecting a large audience because the artist has won many hearts across Africa and above all the show will have a free entrance.

"As artists and fanatic fans of Igcokama Elisha we saw it befitting to officially launch this Zimbabwean fan branch because the brand has already settled in Zimbabwean community, " said Zulu.

Apparently, arts analysts, believe that such a launch will cut the borders between Zimbabwe and South Africa, in a way that will help to thwart ethnic, tribal, and xenophobic based squabbles that are fast claiming permanent spots on the Africa map.

Zulu further said that the branch has been in existence for the past 12 months, "the launch will help other fans understand how we operate as a branch because some of them are still unaware of our existence and do not know where to get the branded products. This launch is on our shoulders as fans and it came as an overwhelming surprise to our music icon, " Zulu elaborated.

Amongst the VIP list there is Igcokama Elisha, Umjikijelwa, Jaiva, Allie Mgube, then on the center stage there will be Bakhe Mchunu and Mchasiseli Gwaza dictating terms as MCs of the day.
