ZimOnline Media releasing The Pachedu Riddim, featuring Zim's elite musical talent

Marking its sixth anniversary, probably one of the fastest globally growing Zimbabwean media houses, ZimOnline Radio will break an unchartered history as they release what they dubbed "The Pachedu Riddim 2014". The riddim project will feature a number of the country's elite talent with the likes of Diana Samkange, Tariro neGitare, Prince Kudakwashe Musarurwa, Pah Chihera, Nox to mention just a few, with more big names signing up.

Pachedu is a unity campaign slogan and brand trademark by ZimOnline Media to counter the negative stereotype within the Zimbabwean community within the music industry and all walks of life. The project is also going into the third year of the Pachedu Awards which in the past alumni saw the honour and recognition of outstanding contributions of many hardworking and positive influential names such as Oliver Tuku Mtukudzi, Nigel Chanakira, Jah Prayzah, Sanii Makhalima among many.

The Pachedu Riddim 2014 is proudly produced and recorded by Zimbabwe's unarguably best music producer, Russell Russo Chiradza at This Is Way Too Nyce studio. This is what ZimOnline Media Chief, Milicent Chanetsa had to say about the riddim:

"For the past 5years, we have seen great talent and work done by Russo, it made my job much easy to pick who should signature our riddim debut. Russo indeed is a professional we are extremely proud he is producing and recording the riddim and I am certain so are the artists".

"The concept of a riddim fits perfectly with our culture and project. Pachivanhu chedu, ngoma ine muridzirwo wayo nemukakirwo wayo kuti bira rifaye. On the same token, Russo mukaki wengoma ane mukurumbira, isuwo tikakoka vaimbi nevarovi vengoma vane mukurumbira kuti zvibva zvatyisa ka," Milicent added.

The Pachedu Awards Class of 2014 will open for nominations from the 19th November 2014 with developments trending through the ZimOnline Media portals and social networking medium.
