Friends and relatives of Big Brother Africa have launched supporting fan club teams in Harare in support of the two housemates, Pokello Nare and Hakeem Mandaza who are representing Zimbabwe in this year's television reality show season 8.

Team Pokello and Team Hakeem have been launched in Harare in support of the two housemates who are representing Zimbabwe.

Fan pages on the social media networks and platforms for Pokello and Hakeem have also been launched.

The fan club is to encourage Zimbabweans who are all over Africa to vote for the two housemates.

Pokello's support platform has been named Team Pokello under the theme "Every woman should have a dream-Zimbabwe's sister in the house."

Team Pokello coordinator, Gamu Goredema said people should support the two housemates as they are also representing the country and people should desist at looking at the past and some negatives and focus on the future.

Social commentator, Tariro Makanga-Chikumbirike said these two housemates are not only representing Zimbabwe but are there to represent young professional groups in the country.

Two former Big Brother Africa housemates, Munyaradzi Chidzonga and Wendell Pearson came to support the teams.

Last year, Zimbabwe was represented by Roki and Maneta.

Voting for the two Zimbabweans housemates began immediately after the nomination show on Monday night.

Team Pokello was launched at a local advertising, marketing and communications company in Harare where her two sisters were also present.
