Journalist and videographer Elles van Gelder and photojournalist Ilvy Njiokiktjien, spent a week in the veld at a right-wing organization Kommandokorps, situated 230km east of Johannesburg.
The Kommandokorps, led by old-apartheid leader Franz Jooste, organizes camps in school holidays where Afrikaner teenagers learn to defend themselves against crime in South Africa and are advised that shouldn't integrate in the new democratic South Africa.
This video production illustrates how these young white South African teens wrestle with an uncertain identity and vision of our multicultural rainbow nation.
The extremist right-wing survival camp, is breeding racism whilst training teenage boys in its ideology.
