Boy stabbed for R1
TEBOGO Bilikwane (22) from Tembisa has reportedly been stabbed to death for R1.
Tebogo, from Tembisa's Endulwini section, used to get customers for taxi drivers and got a R1 tip for each person he brought.
But last Wednesday, after Tebogo had brought a customer for a taxi driver, an argument started between him and another hustler, who said he had introduced the customer.
The fight turned ugly and Tebogo was stabbed in the chest. He died on the spot.
His devastated aunt, Leticia Bilikwane (40), said he had been working to get customers for years, waking up in the morning at 5am.
"He worked hard for his son," she said. She added that the suspect told them what had happened and how sorry he was. Captain Manyadza Ralidzivha said the suspect had handed himself in on Thursday.
