Solusi University to Introduce MPhil and DPhil Programs Starting 2026

Solusi University, a prominent private institution affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church, has announced plans to launch Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) degree programs commencing in 2026. The announcement was made by Vice Chancellor Professor Khumbulani Mpofu.

Solusi University's decision to introduce these postgraduate programs underscores its commitment to academic excellence and research development in Zimbabwe. The MPhil and DPhil programs will cater to students seeking advanced studies in various fields, including Education, Business, Science, Agriculture, Health Professions, and Theology.

Existing Postgraduate Programs at Solusi University

- Master of Science in Food and Nutrition, Clothing and Textiles
- Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Management, English Language and Literature
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)

Located about 50km west of Bulawayo in Matabeleland North Province, Solusi University is known for its quality education and strong Christian values. Established in 1894, it's a co-educational institution recognized by Zimbabwe's Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education .
