INSIZA - Insiza North legislator Delani Moyo (ZANU PF) has donated US$200 to St Lucy Primary School and pledged to install WiFi at Ensango Primary School, as part of ongoing efforts to support education in Ward 22.
The announcement was made during two successful prize‑giving ceremonies held this week, with St Lucy Primary hosting its event on 27 November, followed by Ensango Primary on 28 November.
St Lucy, led by Headmaster Mr Ndlovu, and Ensango, under Headmistress Mrs Mathe, were both praised for well‑organised functions that celebrated learner achievements across academics, sports, behaviour, and attendance. Long‑serving teachers were also honoured for their dedication.
MP Moyo, represented by his office secretary, donated US$200 to St Lucy Primary and pledged to install WiFi at Ensango to enhance access to digital learning.
Further support came from Moses Langa, Chairman of the ZANU PF Youth League in Matabeleland South, who committed to funding six months of WiFi subscription once installation is complete.
Ward 22 Councillor Mrs K. Dlodlo also played a key role in motivating educators and strengthening community involvement in uplifting local schools.
Parents and community members contributed to the success of both events, reflecting the unity and shared responsibility that define Ward 22.
The ceremonies concluded with congratulations to prize winners and calls for learners to continue striving for excellence, backed by committed teachers and community support.
