HARARE – The ZANU PF-led government has supplied all central hospitals in Zimbabwe with new critical care equipment in a bid to address the ongoing health crisis affecting the country’s major institutions.
The development was revealed by the ZANU PF Patriots via their X account, who said the upgrades were already making a difference in patient management.
“Central hospitals across Zimbabwe have received new medical devices - including Fibre Optic Video Laryngoscopes, vital-sign monitors, blood warmers, and infusion and syringe pumps to strengthen emergency and critical care services,” the Patriots said.
Clinicians have reported that the new equipment is improving patient outcomes, particularly during urgent procedures and in hard-to-reach wards. Hospital officials confirmed that the devices have been fully installed and are now in use.
