Mpilo Central Hospital issues sawing machine tender

Scandal ridden Mpilo Central Hospital in Bulawayo has issued a tender for the raft of equipment including supply of sawing machine and kitchen utensils.
The tender falls under 'invitation for supplier's database and display of inquiries.".
Recently, the health institution has been rocked by tender scams that led to the suspension of three senior officials implicated.
Chief executive officer Dr Lawrence Mantiziba, operations director Duduza Regina Moyo and chairperson of the central buying unit Mxolisi Sibanda are currently on suspension without pay for three months.
According to a tender notice today, the hospital is seeking prospective supplies of 16 items.
They range from supply and delivery of pharmaceuticals, surgical sundries, dental equipment, x-ray equipment and consumables, sewing machines, accessories, kitchen utensils, hospital linen and cleaning detergents,.
"Mpilo Central Hospital would also like to advice all potential suppliers that in addition to other tender invitation methods, all tender invitations will be displayed on internal Notice Board at the CBU Department, 3rd Floor, on Tuesdays and Fridays for convenience to our suppliers…".
