Royal Destiny raises money for Bulawayo girl's medical bills

UK based gospel music group, Royal Destiny organised a New Year Celebrations event raffle draw on Saturday and managed to raise £100 towards Thubelihle Sibanda's medical bills.
Thubelihle (11) is suffering from rheumatic heart disease (RHD) and is seeking assistance of R50 000 undergo heart surgery in South Africa.
The event held at Simon Langton Grammer School for Boys in Canterbury was meant to be a get together evening to celebrate the new year and enable people in the community to network and showcase their services.
Opening the evening with a prayer Pastor Aaron Berko from New Life Ministries at The University of Kent prayed for different denominations and businesses who turned up to represent their organisations as well as showcase their products.
Among others the event was also attended by members of the Ethnic Minorities in Canterbury, Eunice Mazaiwana from NHS health promotions, Jeff Sango from Zim Unite, Pastor Blessing from Christ Embassy, Hilary Wytt from Arise, Jambo Africa, Lillian Ndawula from New Perspecive and members of the Ashford Warriors football club.
The audience was entertained by Royal Destiny, Mantongande and Rumbi Chiutsu.
Some of the activities included a fashion show which was characterised by the youth showcasing traditional outfits from all around Africa.
The show ended with a raffle which was held specifically for the evening to raise funds for Thubelihle who is appealing for R50 000 for a heart surgery in South Africa. The raffle managed to raise over £100 towards Thubelihle's medical bills.
