About 250 shoppers bared it all at a German supermarket last week after the new store offered to give its first hundred patrons up to $276 of free groceries if they showed up in the nude.
A YouTube video of the grand opening shows customers waiting in line outside the store before stripping down to their birthday suits and filling up their carts with food, sodas and wine.
The store's manager Nils Sterndorff said he was shocked that the gimmick actually worked.
"I never thought a hundred people would come, I thought maybe more like ten," Sterndorff told The Local.
So many nudes flocked to the "Priss" supermarket that police only allowed groups of 20 people to enter the store at a time, the German news website reported.
Police said that most of the naked customers were Danish, as the store is located in the city of Süderlügum, near the German-Danish border.
Danes are known to cross the border to take advantage of Germany's cheaper liquor and sweets.
