17th August 2026 - On the occasion of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of Indonesia, I extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes to the Government and people of Indonesia.
I also convey my deepest condolences to all those who have lost loved ones in the devastating earthquake and its aftermath in East Nusa Tenggara. My thoughts are with the injured, the bereaved families, and all communities affected by this tragedy.
On this significant Independence Day, the people of Indonesia have once again demonstrated their strength, resilience, unity, and courage in the face of adversity. May the spirit of independence inspire hope and solidarity as Indonesia stands together to overcome this difficult time.
May Indonesia continue to move forward with peace, strength, prosperity, and hope. I stand in solidarity with the people of Indonesia during this difficult time and wish the nation continued progress and a brighter future.
