Pastor offers $20 monthly maintenance, granted request

A pastor with Zion Christian Church in Mutare- Gibson Saunyama went home smiling after a magistrate granted him his request to pay $20 monthly maintenance for his six-year-old child.
Saunyama had said he was only a deacon and survived on piece jobs, getting $70 each month.
"I am not a pastor Your Worship. I plead with the court to believe that I survive on piece jobs, getting $70 each month. I have four other children and a wife to take care of so I can afford only $20 for this child," said Saunyama as reported by Manica Post.
His ex-wife, Tendai Mudodzwa was demanding $124 saying she only $15 each month from selling vegetables.
"He is a pastor at ZCC and I am sure he can afford the $124 regardless of that he has a wife and three other children to take care," said Mudodzwa.
The pair parted ways two years ago.
