An MDC official Discent Collins Bajila has said only an organization such as the MDC can solve the divisions in our society.
He said there are some who have argued that only tribalism can stop Nkosana Moyo from being the next President of Zimbabwe.
"I have asked them, how so when Nkosana Moyo is born of a Karanga man and a Ndebele woman and is married to a Manyika woman? Not that I have for a second believed that Nkosana Moyo will win the 2018 Presidential elections, but I get irritated when people begin to mould a person to suit their own prejudices even if he doesn't," he said.
"In rebuttal, some have said to me that Mberengwa in Midlands was initially Bhelingwe in Rhodesian boundaries. Without going as far as laughing at the use of Rhodesian boundaries to justify anything, I have responded with saying " Gentlemen, if you had never thought that all your lives you would admire a Karanga man as a leader, please admit that the time is over ".
"What I will be reading this coming week is how Mberengwa born Vimbai Musvaburi (aspiring MP for Bulawayo South ) and Mberengwa born Nkosana Moyo (aspiring President ) fit differently into these narratives."
