MRP inaugural rally successful

Mthwakazi Republic Party has claimed that its rally in Bulawayo on Saturday was successful and the party will proceed to other areas in the country to campaign ahead of the 2018 elections.
"Stanley Hall" rally was successful. We are so much happy as a party to be associated with the historic event. This was our first campaign rally in Bulawayo as Mthwakazi Republic Party, judging by the attendance today we must say so far so good. It is not an easy task to mobilize people in this city for political participation, because of many reasons, chief among them being that the majority of them have lost interest in political participation. Our people now believe that voting and participation in national decision making is a preserve of Mashonaland people and not them," said the party.
"Most of our people have convinced themselves to be content with the little they have, with the view that political leadership is a privilege of the people of Mashonaland. They have accepted that there is nothing anyone can do to stop wicked against killing, stealing, and undermining them. Mthwakazi people have accepted their fate of being perpetual slaves, and zombies of other countries particularly South Africa and Bostwana. Working there is still regarded as a blessing to majority of us. It is every youth of Matabeleland's dream to go to South Africa after completion of their O level education or even before. Going to South Africa or Bostwana is considered as bravery and an achievement in one's life. There is almost no family in Matabeleland without a relative or more, working in South Africa or Bostwana."
"Our people think that the governance of this country, the national resources and the duty to share resources is a prerogative of ZANU PF and the people of Mashonaland. This kind of perception is evident across the board, and or in all ages including our respectable ZAPU and Zipra veterans who have lost self-esteem. They now think they can't do anything on their own."
The party said it is disheartening to note that in this day and age of social media they have people who are completely detached from politics, to the extent that some don't even know who is the president now, they don't know about the impending elections next year, let alone the ongoing Voter registration.
"Thus how bad is our situation in Matabeleland. Those in the diaspora are also not helping matters, despite the exposure they have. Most of our people there are willing to pay what ever it takes for them to get permits in the countries hosting them. Many have made South Africa their home. They don't want to involve themselves with their Nation of origin again. Some have left everything including their spouses, children, parents, friends and relatives and the situation is so painful especially considering how much our people are being denigrated in their host countries," said MRP.
"The fact that almost 9 of the 11 languages spoken in South Africa and all languages spoken in Bostwana are actually Matabeleland's official languages, makes the situation to be even worse. Our people easily adapt in those countries including Zambia where some of our languages are spoken. You will hardly separate them from the locals and that is more reason why we are today three million short of our total population in Matabeleland and Midlands. Mthwakazi Republic Party and its leadership have taken it upon themselves to rebuild the nation of Mthwakazi. It is a great and daunting task indeed to embark on a journey like this. Remember even in the days of Moses the Israelites that he sort to release from their oppression by Pharoah, actually accused him of disturbing them, some even telling him straight that he was supposed to take them back to Egypt."
"That is the situation we find ourselves in, but we were equal to the task in today's meeting at Stanley Hall here in Bulawayo. It is part of a broader campaign by MRP to rebuild our nation. Our major task now is to convince our people that they have a right to self-determination and self rule. We want our people to know that Mthwakazi have enormous amount of natural resources that we can exploit for our own benefits. We want them to know that their vote counts and abstaining from voting, or political participation is not an option. This has been a source of our suffering and misery. We are encouraging our people to believe that they too are created by the same God who created people from Mashonaland, that means as the Bible say we are all equal in the eyes of the Lord."
"What they can do, we can do, even better, as we want our people to know that they too can be first and not second or deputies. It begins with us taking a positive step towards starting to believe in ourselves. We are hoping against hope that the elections next year will be free, fair and credible elections. Every Vote counts, its a fact. Lets register to vote."
MRP said Bulawayo must now be led by it, Matabeleland South, North and Midlands as well.
"Most of you have already lost Mnangagwa's press statements particularly his inaugural address and the speech he made in South Africa on his first trip as head of state and government. Some of us still have those and are yet to mark any of his achievements so far besides the removal of many unnecessary traffic roadblocks. We have seen some of our people joining in the bootlicking and praise singing of Mnangagwa especially the opposition parties particularly the MDC Alliance and ZAPU. These two have had its officials making public announcements that are reckless and irresponsible in support of president Mnangagwa, particularly the likes of Addie Cross and David Coltart among others," said the party.
"As Mthwakazi Republic Party gathered here today we pledge that we will not baby seat the current government. This unnecessary patronization, and praise singing of leaders like we see people doing it to Mnangagwa is treasonous. It is the same patronage that made former president Robert Gabriel Mugabe to be a monster he is. As MRP we believe that the seating president and his cabinet must hear from us and not the other way round. We want to hold Mnangagwa and his team accountable and we demand that he must walk the talk and take responsibility of the good, the bad and the ugly they did with his former boss and stop finding scapegoats by pointing at others."
MRP said it is only a fool that can believe that people aligned to Lacoste faction in ZANU PF are saints and those aligned to G40 are the only criminals.
"The accusations that Chihuri alone was responsible of all the crimes committed by the police is hogwash and can only be accepted by ignorant people. To say that Mugabe alone did all the wrongs alone while portraying Mnangagwa as a saint is political grandstanding and is dangerous because it creates an impression that presidents are above the law, and that they can commit crimes and get away with it which is unfortunate," said MRP.
"If Mnangagwa is genuine about what he is saying and if his supporters are telling the truth that he has reformed, then he must with immediate effect, remove POSA. He must stop using the public media as a ZANU PF mouth peace and public media journalists as ZANU PF commiserate. Allow Reuben Barwe and Judith Makwanya to interview us on Zbc news live and cover our rallies too, as they cover ZANU PF. Allow your government officials to employ locals, withdraw none Ndebele speaking teachers in Mthwakazi. Withdraw your CIOs from following us around and take responsibility of Gukurahundi genocide, among other reforms."
"To prove that Mnangagwa has reformed reformed, he must protect those who do not support his presidency and make them safe in this country, allow freedom of speech, freedom of association and freedom of expression because that is what democracy demands."
"As MRP we are not impressed by Mnangagwa's command photo shoot in public places and or in church that does not move us at all. Dr stop it or is it Mrs Mnangagwa must also stop coming here in Matabeleland to mock us. We are tired of your gimmicks and we don't want you to come here as saints pretending that you didn't know or participate in the destruction of Matabeleland and Midlands."
"Finally we encourage all our people to register and Vote, we encourage you all to make sure that you vote and protect your vote."
