South African opposition EFF leader Julius Malema has highlighted the Zimbabwean conundrum, saying the country is facing a "big problem", while focusing on the upcoming elections which he fears are already stolen by the army.
"Elections get stolen in Zimbabwe in broad daylight by the army," he says.
"I'm sure they already have the results, while we are still talking about the elections. They are done!"
Malema says Zimbabwe's main opposition CCC leader Nelson Chamisa most likely won the last election, but it was stolen.
The vocal EFF leader also says Zimbabwe is still reeling from its protracted crisis, yet no one is talking about it anymore, not even South Africa which is directly and mostly affected by the situation.
While condemning leadership failure in Zimbabwe, Malema always defends Zimbabweans in South Africa.
He says South Africans are generally not xenophobic, although there is a vocal and aggressive minority which is.
