Mnangagwa presides over the handover ceremony of the New Parliament building

Today, His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa will preside over the handover ceremony of the China-aided New Parliament building project in Mt Hampden.

Zimbabwe's new parliament gives an architectural nod to the country's famous ancient ruins.

The new $200 million Zimbabwean parliament, which opened last year is a gift, with no loans attached from China.
