Armed robbers found guilty

Yesterday, two armed robbers who carried out a series of robberies in Bulawayo pleaded guilty and were convicted on their own admissions. They have been remanded for sentencing today.
These individuals targeted fast food outlets, supermarkets, financial institutions, and even robbed individuals in various incidents. Lenny Ryan Mupande (21), hailing from Entumbane, and Bezel Chirova (21) from Njube suburb in Bulawayo admitted their guilt on charges of armed robbery, attempted murder, and theft during their appearance before Mr. Elijah Singano. They have been found guilty, and their sentencing is scheduled for today.
Mupande, facing five counts, is also charged with the theft of a motor vehicle that was used in their criminal activities, while Chirova is facing two counts.
The arrests of these individuals took place last week following a thorough investigation, as stated by Miss Siphiwe Mhlanga, the prosecuting attorney representing the State.
