A 35‑year‑old Bulawayo man has appeared in court after he allegedly threatened to stab his ex‑girlfriend before raping her.
Lameck Mguni appeared before magistrate Shingirai Mutiro facing a rape charge.
The State alleged that on 10 August, at Ngoma Village A3 Hope Foundation, Mguni stormed the complainant’s yard and kicked her door open before pulling out an okapi knife. He allegedly threatened to stab her before raping her.
The matter was reported to the police, leading to Mguni’s arrest.
