NSSA employee dies in road accident

Ivy Mukarati (24), a contract worker with the National Social Security Authority, (NSSA) was killed in an accident on Sunday two weeks ago when the car she was travelling in was involved in a head-on accident with an oncoming vehicle.
The accident happened at the 5km peg along Masvingo-Mashava road.
Masvingo Mirror reported that NSSA Acting Regional Manager, Titus Mbambi told the Mirror in an interview that they had lost a great member of the company.
"Ivy was a very good young lady who did her duties in time, we will really miss her as a company." said Mbambi.
Acting Provincial Spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Kudakwashe Dhewa gave details of the accident.
There was a head on collision between a Toyota Runx which was driven by Beulah Chiwaridzo Tamburwa (29) and she was with Mukarati and a Toyota Dyna truck which was driven by Joshua Tagwirei Muchinjikwa (64).
Tamburwa was driving towards Mashava with 5 people whilst Tagwirei was alone towards Masvingo.
Approaching 5km peg Tagwirei tried to overtake another car resulting in a head on collision with Tamburwa
