A concerned member of the community in Matabeleland North Sipho Dube has described the  Mthwakazi Republic Party  led by Mqondisi Moyo as a God sent party to deliver people in the region from the brutal Robert Mugabe's Zanu PF government.

He said they have been following  its activities and they believe it is GOD sent to deliver the beautiful Mthwakazi land from the bondage of Pharaoh ( R Mugabe).

"My area is well known as Ngoro-ngoro Chitete, Dandanda area in Lupane, under Chief ubaba uMenyezwa. The area is situated down where Lupane borders with Binga and Gokwe. Most people there are Ndebeles and Tongas and the area is worse neglected in Matabeleland," Dube said.

"The area is nick named Ngorongoro because of its slope steepness and serious soil degradation conditions that accelerate soil erosion processes. Noma kunjalo the place is still a good communal land with fertile land for farming because my people still rely on farming and they do harvest even in serious weather conditions."

He said his report to MRP Secretary for information and publicity, Mbonisi Gumbo was not about natural challenges but political challenges that has been affecting us from the 80s and the situation is worsening such that our people have normalized it.

"I am sure its high time we have an MRP councillor and MPs people are ready to support you. The area is going backwards, I don't know, maybe to stone age period. It is in my area where you find boys under the age of 20 years who can't read or write, they can't enjoy the privileges brought forward by technological changes like Whatsapp n Facebook," he said.

"Angisakhulumi ngamantombazani coz they are mothers at 14years. Learning conditions is the main cause of these problems. From the 80s our education system lacked skilled educators, so we relied on unqualified teachers. I understand last year our government terminated the contract of all unskilled teachers ~ which mostly were local teachers. Now our schools got shortage of teachers and the few that we left with can't speak or write our local languages. The most affected grades are grade R to 4 who desperately need their mother language for communication. I personal went through those difficult learning conditions but I think mine was far much better because I was taught by unskilled local teachers from grade 1-5. Grade 6 and 7."

He said he was taught by a Shona teacher who couldn't understand a single Ndebele word.

"Secondary school was worse. We never had enough teachers, each teacher could teach 2 or more subjects. I remember when I was doing my O level, I was the head boy and my headmaster approached me asking me to help teach form 1 and form 2," he said.

"I voluntary taught form 1s mathematics and form 2 science and Geography. It is because of that experience that I decided to start my Education Foundation. For the past 3 years I have been helping my secondary school with stationary and End of Year Prize giving day. My aim this year is to open a school library that will b open even to community members who want to supplement their studies. My nightmare started when I visited two primary schools ~ Chitete primary school and Mahlalufikile primary with the aim of sponsoring learning material for grades 0s."

"I was shocked to find that Mahlalufikile primary they are even planning to scratch that grade off, because of enforceable reasons. No teachers. Kids can't understand teachers language. Chitete primary school is a very old beautiful school, one of the school with many pupils, an intercultural school," he added.

He said the school is famous in Lupane for winning many competitions; cultural dances, dramas, sports and choirs. In the past It has produced good results under difficult conditions.

"For almost ten years now the school is a disaster under the head Ms Dinare. The pass rate if not mistaken sits at 1%. Was very disappointed that the school by October last year it had only 3 local teachers. A serious collective effort is needed to try solve the dilemma," he said.

"The community desperately needs some sort of awareness education. They are mind colonised, abused n normalized the situation."
