A WATERFALLS woman has accused her co-wife of spiting her by calling her an old woman who is tasteless in bed.
The woman further alleged that her co-wife was turning their husband against her by barring him from visiting and taking care of their child.
Liliosa Hondiwa revealed this at the Harare civil court where she was being sued for abuse by Fiera Chindindi.
Hondiwa denied harassing Chindindi saying that she was the one who was being abused.
"I do not see how I am the one who is abusing her when she is the one who snatched my husband from me.
"It's been three years now since she started staying with our husband.
"She does not want our husband to take care of his child and she bars him from visiting us.
"This woman is the one who insults me saying I am too old to have a husband.
"Akanditi handina kepa bonde ndosaka ndichisiiwa nemurume.
"Those words hurt me so much because I do not consider myself as an old woman.
"She forcibly took my husband now she is trying by all means to take my child from me. I went to her house to ask for money from our husband. I did not insult her," argued Hondiwa.
Chindindi claimed that Hondiwa was harassing her.
"She insults and assaults me even when I am at work. She embarrasses me by using obscene language. I am not at peace with this woman," alleged Chindindi.
Presiding magistrate Sharon Rakafa granted a reciprocal peace order.
