A political commentator Vince Musewe has said Former South African President Thabo Mbeki who was the mediator in the crisis politics in
Zimbabwe in 2008 committed a crime against humanity by facilitating an agreement in favour of President Robert Mugabe even though it was clear
that he was seriously beaten by MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai in the first round of the polls and later resorted to violence to settle at statehouse.

"Thabo Mbeki's crime against Zimbabweans, Freedom deferred is freedom denied," Musewe said.

"Joice Mujuru has confirmed what we all knew. Mugabe lost to Tsvangirai in 2008 by more than 70%. This means that 70% of voters rejected Mugabe in 2008 and he is therefore a thief who stole the crown and is illegitimate."

He said what adds to this travesty was of course the unprapared ness of Tsvangirai to claim the throne expecting it to be handed to him on a
platter.

"However the main culprit for me remains Thabo Mbeki who aided the dictator and therefore deferred our freedom. Millions of Zimbabweans suffer to this day and thousands died. This to me is a crime against humanity which we cannot ignore," he said.

"What this man did is indefensible because of his complicity to this day 9 years later Zimbabwe is a failed kleptocracy unable to meet its
constitutional obligations to its citizens. We must never forget."
