Tsvangirai's book 'At the Deep End' sales 3000 copies in Zimbabwe

Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai's book 'At the Deep End' which was launched in Zimbabwe last year has sold 3 000 copies locally. The book sales at $35 a copy.
Luke Tamborinyoka, the PM's spokesperson said all the 3 000 copies earmarked for the Zimbabwean market has been sold out.
During the book's official launch at Harare's Book Café, At the Deep End sold 235 copies within two hours, with the PM at hand to personally autograph them.
"The book is doing well in South Africa and the region, including here in Zimbabwe. While it is also doing well in Europe, it is so big in London where volumes of its copies have been moved," said Tamborinyoka.
The PM's spokesperson said plans were at an advanced stage to have the book released on paper bag so it can be affordable to the generality of Zimbabweans.
Tamborinyoka emphasised that while the book was doing well internationally, it was meant for Zimbabweans.
The book, published in South Africa was written in collaboration with the Prime Minister's former spokesperson Willian Bango.
At the Deep End depicts Tsvangirai's personal reflections on key events that have shaped his odyssey into the deep end of the country's politics and his involvement in the democratic struggle in Zimbabwe.
