A CITY woman yesterday accused her husband's girl-friend of exposing the latter's affair to her children.
Letwin Matiyenga also accused Penelope Ruswa, who is employed at Kutsaga Research Board, of having an affair with her husband Master Matiyenga at the civil court where she applied for a protection order.
"The respondent called and sent me photographs of herself with my husband on a holiday without my knowledge.
"My husband is now deserting our matrimonial home to stay with her in Chitungwiza," she said.
Speaking through her lawyer, Matiyenga said Ruswa was now the one paying school fees for her children direct to their school's account.
"My husband transfers money into the respondent's account who in turn disburses some of the money towards my children's fees.
"The issue is emotionally affecting my children because each time a payment is made, the school heads calls my children to come and confirm if they know the respondent," she said.
In response, Ruswa denied the allegations and challenged the applicant to prove her claims.
"I deny co-habiting with the complainant's husband as alleged or at all, if complainant's husband is not going to the matrimonial house on certain occasions, surely that has nothing to do with me.
"She should confront her husband and ascertain where he is sleeping because wherever that is, it is not at my residence," she said.
Presiding magistrate Amanda Muridzo postponed the matter to today for ruling.
