07 Aug 2017 at 17:22hrs | Views
Contrary to several hoax Whatsapp messages and rumours being spread throughout the Bulawayo community, KFC Zimbabwe would like to reiterate that all the permanent employees at our new Bradfield KFC restaurant in Bulawayo are recruited locally from the community of Bulawayo.
The staff compliment for this KFC Restaurant is 51 team members (6 Managers and 45 Restaurant Team Members).
During January 2017, KFC Zimbabwe placed adverts in The Chronicle seeking staff for the new restaurant. We received an overwhelming response and have continued to get applications for these roles. Interviews were held in Bulawayo at Robert Tredgold Primary School on 2nd and 3rd May 2017. A total of 45 members of staff were employed and given training at our established restaurants in Harare under the guidance of our skilled staff.
In order to make sure that our new restaurant in Bulawayo met the very high standards that KFC always delivers to our customers, 22 of our most experienced Team Members from Harare will be temporarily assisting the Bulawayo team while they complete their training.
The team assisting from Harare have opened our restaurants in the past and are aware of the pressures that are placed on an outlet as popular as KFC.
We are committed to the communities in which we operate and work hard to drive local employment and skills development. Our recruitment policy remains the same from the day we first opened in Zimbabwe. Applicants are asked to email cvs to:-
careers@kfczimbabwe.co.zw or cvs@kfczimbabwe.co.zw
Applicants are contacted directly for interviews if there are suitable options available.
We are overwhelmed by the positive response we have received from Bulawayo over our opening weekend and we look forward to sharing many more meals with the residents of this great city.
