Mthwakazi Republic Party leadership has claimed that it is reliably informed that ZANU PF is going around Mthwakazi communities threatening communities who would vote against them.

Party secretary general Hloniphani Ncube said according to our sources the people within the communities are told that the Biometric voting systems captures those who vote against ZANU PF. People are told that, if they are detected by the system they would automatically be killed by ZANU PF trained youths and army.

"The ZANU PF people are also threatening of destroying the homes of those who would vote against them" he said.

"These acts of brutality are currently on going at Bubi, Zenka, Lukala, Siganda, Sikhobokhobo, Katasa, Mbuma and all areas around Mthwakazi. The people who reported on ground revealed this information trembling."

He said this act of stupidity is not a new tactic of ZANU PF.

"It has always been the policy of ZANU PF. It is public knowledge that, as we approach elections ZANU PF is preparing to kill and destroy thousands of people who would publicly oppose ZANU PF" he said.

"The people further revealed that families who do not attend ZANU PF rallies would be killed by ZANU PF mobs. The sources revealed that anyone who would be found with MRP papers would be burnt alive."

"We warm ZANU PF in advance to refrain from these acts of barbarism in our communities. Such inhuman behaviour exhibited by ZANU PF thugs would not go unpunished. "

He said they want to assure people that, no one would be seen voting.

" The votes would be private and confidential. We urge our people to vote with their conscious and to be as peaceful as possible in these trying times. If they force you to attend rallies go but show your true colours in the ballot box. Your vote is your secret" he said.

"We continue to urge all Mthwakazi people above the urge of 18 to register to vote in their large numbers. "
