A Daily News journalist has reportedly been shoot by police while covering aa Harare demonstration.
The Journalist identified as Mugove Tafirenyika was attacked and injured by police while covering clashes between ZRP and forex dealers in Harare.
National People's Party has condemned the attack on journalists by the police.
"NPP condemns in the strongest terms the systematic and barbaric physical and emotional abuse of journalists by the rogue Zanu PF regime. Journalists should be allowed to work freely and be protected by the security forces," said the NPP.
"A country is as free as its press. No press freedom no freedom. This confirms once more that Zimbabwe is not a free country. Violence against journalists, and indeed against anyone for that matter, must stop."
