POPULAR socialite Sir Wicknell - real name Wicknell Chivayo - has thrown his weight behind musician Jah Prayzah who is facing criticism after the death of his former aide Chris Nyemba.

Jah Prayzah was attacked at the burial of Nyemba on Tuesday by bouncers who accused him of not contributing towards the funeral and owing the deceased him salaries.

Jah Prayzah's camp insists they DON'T owe the deceased any cent.

The 3rd Generation band management highlighted as strange that the allegations are coming from the people they have not worked with.

"We remain with our position and I think with no further comments. When they left 3rd Generation everything was sorted out. It was all done in peace and through himself as the one whom we worked with," said Keen Mushapaidze.

However, Sir Wicknell who was the guest of honour at Jah Prayzah's Kutonga Kwaro album launch recently took to Facebook and urged the high riding singer to remain firm.

Wicknell urged the Unondiziva singer to take note of people's 'pull down syndrome'.

Reads Wicknell's post:  "@jahprayzah AMAZING TALENT……..usabvume kuchichidzirwa ne mapfumo emashanga Soja. Ma Zimbabweans ndozvaanoita , vanorwadziwa ne munhu akango budirira. Iyo salary yacho ingava marii yaunga tadze kubhadhara mushandi wako aiva wepamoyo. We all know you treated Chris like your own brother and he always said that . May his soul rest in eternal peace…. Please don't forget SMALL MINDS can't comprehend CRITICAL THINKERS like you….TO BE GREAT you have to be willing to be mocked , hated and misunderstood ……You are destined for greatness….STAY STRONG…."

Meanwhile, Jah Prayzah continues with his countrywide tour meant to take his new album to people.

He performs at Chikangwe Tarven in Karoi tonight before he travels to Marondera at Legends Sports Diner for another show on Saturday night.

Keen Mushapaidze confirmed the shows saying the camp is in high mood ahead of the two shows.

"The shows are on; we are in Karoi Friday night, then Marondera at Legends Sports Diner the following night.

"The morale in the camp is good and we are inviting fans from those areas to come and support their star," said Mushapaidze.
