An analyst Amos Ngonyamoā€ˇ has said if President Emmerson Mnangagwa fails to revive the country's economy he will prove to be a fool more worse than former President Robert Mugabe.

"If Mnangagwa will fail, then he is the dullest president in the world," he said.

"Robert Mugabe was a revolutionary, the things he achieved were very difficult and needed someone brave to achieve them, Robert was not short of that, he took the bull by the horns and fought for the empowerment of the indigenous black, gave back the land to its rightfully owners, emancipated the blacks through the indigenization policy."

He said remember, everywhere in history, wherever radical revolutions occur, there is flow of blood, in Zimbabwe case there wasn't that much flow of blood but suffering came through economic hardship, Mugabe presided over all this until the end.

"As for Mnangagwa, he comes when all the junky work has been done for him, he has no reason to make enemies because the former president, Robert Mugabe, has already left the nation at another level. What made Zimbabwe get hated through out the west is that we redistributed land, let no one lie to you that its because of human rights abuses or anything else, it is because of the land issue. Now that we have what we want, we can befriend everyone and use them to develop our nation, simply because the ball is already now in our hands," he said.

"Kana kuri kubhora tisu takahwinha 6 - 0, isu chatava kuda Ku defender chete up to 90 minutes, we won't lose anything by not attacking cz already mutambo ndewedu, but hatingofaniri kusiya defence isina Munhu just to maintain. As Mnangagwa comes in his major task is to maintain and safeguard the gains of independence that our father Robert Mugabe already dished to us in a silver plate."

He said if someone's main task is to maintain only it means he has a lot more time to concentrate on other things that might also need attention, the economy needs attention, uniting all Zimbabweans from all walks of life with various perceptions needs attention, improving our politics in terms of democracy needs attention, growing the economy and attracting foreign direct investment needs attention, to mention but a few.
