Revolutionary greetings dear comrades. Compliments of the new year. I hope 2018 is going to be a golden year which will confirm that NPP is a formidable political outfit in the Zimbabwean political terrain. This is the year that will strategically position the young party in Zimbabwean politics. The upstart of yesterday will become the arbiter of the  Zimbabwean political landscape.

I am writing this article in pain of the loss of one of our outstanding liberation heroes, Themba Ndlovu (the deputy national chairman of the freedom fighters). He was laid to rest in his home at Mtshabezi.

Its not only a loss to NPP, but also to the Zimbabwean nation as a whole. He believed in democracy and did everything and anything to champion it. He talked and walked democracy.

Themba Ndlovu believed that freedom was for all citizens not a selected few. He did not believe in monopolisation of freedom and power. He thus fought against brutality precipitated upon the opposition by  the current regime. In short, he believed in everything that the ZANU PF party was against.

The president of NPP, Dr. Joice Mujuru asserted that :All warveterians fought for one thing, to liberate Zimbabwe . When Zipra and Zanla forces where fighting,  they where fighting one enemy and even after independence they should still work together despite their political affiliations and "ethnic extraction." This was a call for unity within the ranks of the liberation comrades. Differences must not make us enemies, we must instead celebrate our differences at the same time work together to rebuild our country.

We would like to thank the NPP President Cde Joice Mujuru and his vice Dr. Samuel Siphepha Nkomo, National chairman Mavaire and his deputy pastor Ernest Bulayani,David Moyo Bulawayo provincial Chairman, Terry Janure Bulawayo, Financial advisor Moffat Ndou, Youth provincial chairman, ever vocal Christopher Ndiweni, Queen Maligwa and Bancinyane Ndiweni (all war veterans) for attending the burial.

As NPP youth we send our sincere condolences to his family, friends and relatives. May his great soul rest in eternal peace. Akuhlanga lungehlanga, isitsha esihle asidleli. Hamba kahle mfoka Ndlovu.

Victory is certain, alluta continua.
