Mwonzora blasts Jonathan Moyo and other ZBC analysts

Copac co-chairman Douglas Mwonzora lambasts ZBC political and social analysts Jonathan Moyo, Claude Mararike, Tafataona Mahoso, Vimbai Chivaura and Isheunesu Mupepereki, labelling them unfit to be constitutional analysts.
Mwonzora told a public meeting on the constitution-making process in Harare, organised by the Mass Public Opinion Institute and Crisis Coalition, that the State broadcasters use of the 5 as constitutional analysts was irresponsible as none of them were experts in constitutional issues.
He described the move to use the 5 in analysing the constitution as choosing a hammer to do the work of a shovel.
"When ZBC chooses constitutional analysts, it takes people who masquerade as experts in the constitution-making processes, yet some of them have qualifications in agriculture, arts and other disciplines", said Mwonzora.
"We have Moyo who studied political cience, Mararike who has a degree in arts, Mahoso who did journalism, Chivaura who has a degree in English and Mupepereki who studied something to do with agriculture and these are the people who are taken as experts to analyse the constitution for the people of Zimbabwe," he said.
