A 23-year-old Mazowe mine man is on the run after he reportedly, fatally stabbed an artisanal miner with a broken bottle in a fight for a commercial sex worker on Monday.
Sources close to investigations allege Nasio Soza (23) had a bloody fight with a 25-year-old artisanal miner only identified Steven over a sex worker at Doxford bar around 2am.
Soza is reported to have picked a bottle in the fight which he brock and stabbed Steven on the abdomen.
It is further alleged that Steven bled profusely and no one had the guts to assist him fearing to be drawn by the police as witnesses.
"Soon after committing the crime Soza varnished and his whereabouts are not known, sadly Steven was left unattended for more than two hours as no one wanted to witness the case in court.
"However one patron gained courage and ferried him to a nearby clinic where he was pronounced dead upon admission," revealed the source.
Meanwhile, many fatal cases have been recorded at Doxford bar and the cases involve sex workers and artisanal miners.
