ZimFirst leader Maxwell Shumba has challenged Zimbabweans to desists from acting irrationally following the violence hat broke out in Harare on Wednesday.

"At this critical moment in our nation, on behalf of the ZimFirst Party let me ask all citizens to desist from acting irrationally, stocking flames that may cause anarchy, and may result in loss of blood of innocent people . In addition I extol ZEC to do a diligent work with the people's vote that passes the test of time," he said.

"As a nation we must all demonstrate patience and maturity, and act in a way that puts our people and their safety first. Now is the time for collective responsibility. Those who are aggrieved should challenge the result in a responsible manner that does not result in the needless loss of lives. For example I was barred from contesting as a Presidential candidate, I took that in stride and exercised responsible leadership to allow the national the plebiscite to go to its natural conclusion. If you contested in this election. Please follow suit."
