MDC-T fails to learn from its past

Former Bulilima East MP Norman Mpofu has said the MDC-T has failed to learn from its past mistakes leading to their loss of elections this year.
"MDC Chamisa lost all seats in Mat south serve for Gwanda central represented by Welsh candidate. No substitute for quality. Had they not grabbed seats belonging to other alliance members the story could have been different," he said.
"Lack of quality has been the Achilles heel for MDC-T in Mat South. They don't seem to learn their lesson since the split with Welshman Ncube. This problem is glaring in Plumtree town where the outcry about poor candidate selection for local government was deafening. Strangely in other regions the party deploys degreed candidates while in Mat South the majority of candidates both local government and House of Assembly are primary school drop outs."
