Woman celebrates ex's elections defeat

South Africa based businesswoman Vimbai Chakanyuka who claims to have used her fortunes on the electoral campaign for Mabvuku-Tafara Zimbabwe Partnership and Prosperity Party (ZIPP) House of Assembly candidate, Simba Muchero is celebrating after the latter lost in last week's harmonised elections.
Simba who is also the leader for One Blow Church is accused of squandering Vimbai's thousands of dollars after he had promised to marry her.(image)
Vimbai said her former boyfriend didn't deserve to win because he was a con artist.
"I am happy that the people from Mabvuku-Tafara constituency did not vote for Simba because he doesn't deserve to lead people.
"He is just an opportunist who doesn't have people at heart; he failed to handle the administration of his own family what more the whole constituency?
"He is just an opportunist who wanted to run for public office only to steal from the community.
"If it wasn't for my finances he had nothing to give to the electorate, I would do everything for him to the extent of even buying him airtime.
"Sometimes I feel sorry for him because some of the things that he boasts about having is enough proof that he has a shallow mind.
"I was surprised when I saw some of his posts on social media bragging that he is getting a lot of money from tithes," said Vimbai.
Speaking on her current situation, Vimbai said she had now put the past behind her and was ready to move on with her life.
"I have learnt from my mistake and as from now going forward I am now dating people of my level, he is a small boy and he now has to keep his lane.
"I can best describe him as a useless individual posing to be a servant of God. I have been receiving messages from different women whom he has also robbed.
"I wish him well in life but he should learn not to scam or lie to people, it's sad actually," he said.
Meanwhile Simba said Vimbai's actions were meant to tarnish his image.
"I can't be brought down by prostitutes like Vimbai Chakanyuka, who are being paid to paint my name and lie to the world that they funded me.
"Vimbai Chakanyuka is a known prostitute that escorts certain top officials just because they felt the heat in Mabvuku-Tafara they resorted to sending this woman that I met once and not even for 30 minutes.
"For her to claim that she was in relationship with me or she funded me R2million is baseless.
"She once ran away from Botswana after framing certain people as well. I am a man of dignity and she is one of the people who just want to be on the spotlight because of me," he said.
