VIDEO: Chamisa calls Kirsty Coventry mudhidhi

MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa dismissed the new cabinet appointed by President Emmerson Mnangagwa saying it was needlessly too big and just as illegitimate as its principal.

The opposition leader was addressing supporters at St Mary's in Chitungwiza Saturday in his first rally after the July 30 elections.

Among the surprise inclusions in Mnangagwa's cabinet was former Olympic champion swimmer and a current member of the IOC's executive board Kirsty Coventry.

The 34-year-old was named sports minister and Chamisa was not complimentary of the appointment.
