NPF spokesperson Mr Jealousy Mawarire has suggested that President Emmerson Mnangagwa paid Jonathan Moyo's shildren school fees when Moyo moved to Kenya.
Responding to Mr Prof Moyo's attacks on Grace Mugabe, Mawarire said: "I also hope @ProfJNMoyo doesn't think his #LetsKwekweHim nonsense was a national cry. Sometimes pple are better off quiet than expose their duplicitous selves, who paid his chln's school fees when he moved to Kenya, wasn't it ED (Mnangagwa)?
"While @ProfJNMoyo is within his right to criticise anyone whom chooses to, it's his pass time, he has to be truthful throughout. One day, his reason for the fallout with Mai Mugabe will be told, and it's never about Mai Mugabe wanting to be NPF president, she never wanted." ***
Last night The Herald sought to verify claims by Mr Mawarire that President Mnangagwa paid school fees for Prof Moyo's children. A respected banker who knows how Government transactions are done in the sector said: "The (G40) cabal wanted to externalise hundreds of thousands of US dollars to an African country (name supplied). The alert system picked that up and blocked that shady transaction. The shady transaction was going to be justified in the name of settling school fees for children, for which no proper receipts were tendered. It was only upon the production of valid receipts that Government authorised the banking sector to release monies that were needed for the educational expenses for children of members of the cabal, including the children of Jonathan Moyo."
