MDC Alliance official Discent Collins Bajila has said there is no one who has a monopoly on use of the term "President" in Zimbabwe after some Zanu PF members seemed to be angry and threatening when MDC Alliance is being called People's President.
"No one has a monopoly on use of the term President in Zimbabwe. The President of Umhlabathi Upha Oginqileyo Goats Project is a President. The President of Checheche Secondary Debate Club is a President and gets installed in terms of the laws of that club," he said.
"This is not Nazi Germany where the term Further was banned for any other use except in reference to Adolf Hitler. We will have a President of the People of Zimbabwe installed in terms of the needs of the People of Zimbabwe. The President of the Republic of Zimbabwe must not interfere."
