A Twitter parody account of exiled Professor Jonathan Moyo has likened MDC leader Nelson Chamisa to a biblical Moses who is called to  spiritually and politically lead Zimbabweans to a better state.

The account which goes by the name Outlaw in Exile was responding to Chamisa's spiritual post encouraging Zimbabweans to soldier on because Canaan is near.

"I believe in you spiritually, politically because you are a God ordained servant whose efforts spread wider on the land of Zimbabwe to ensure safety, development and indoctrination of the SMART document ...LET'S GO MOSE." The Parody account said.

Chamisa had posted that, "Canaan is on the Horizon! We are at Rephidim and the Amalekites are here. So Moses must go up the mountain with the staff of the Lord to pray with the aid of Aaron and Hur. Joshua goes into the battlefront to fight the opponent. History books being written as we plant new memorials.

"I am a priestly leader not just a politician. I am not supposed to lead a just a revolution but a revival upon a revelation."

In the same thread Chamisa likened President Emmerson Mnangagwa to the Israeli King Saul and himself to David.

"Remember Saul turned to David to play a harp each time Saul was visited by that evil spirit. David also won the battles for Saul. Saul must understand and acknowledge David.

"Many young Zimbabweans are not engaged gainfully and productively due to a non-performing economy. We must fix that now. It appears slow but it is fast and shall come quick. The signs are there and the evidence is upon us. We are near our smiles and jubilation away and all the sorrows and sorries of today shall be of the past. The enemy seems so strong when so weak. The collapse is self-evident."
