MDC Leader Nelson Chamisa said the Zimbabwe bird symbol is part of the problems that Zimbabweans are facing as it represents idol worship.
Chamisa was responding to one Brighton Hove who had said, "The Zimbabwe's birds must now fly cde Nelson Chamisa , how can we also be part of the team here in the Aus Diaspora"
The opposition leader replied him saying, "That Zimbabwean bird symbol is part of our problem. We must deal with institutional idolatry."
Chamisa also too the opportunity to call upon Zimbabweans to unite regardless of political affiliation and find a lasting solution to the country's problems.
"Where we are going would require us to think and act together as Zimbabweans. Our dire situation is no longer about MDC or ZANU PF but about Zimbabwe."
The belief in institutional idol worship is mostly quoted by Christians and Jews from the book Ezekiel Chapter 8.
The passage of scripture says God took Ezekiel and said, "Son of man, have you seen what the elders of Israel are doing in the darkness, each at the shrine of his own idol? They say, The LORD does not see us; the LORD has forsaken the land.
"Therefore I will deal with them in anger; I will not look on them with pity or spare them. Although they shout in my ears, I will not listen to them."
