Zimbabwe Achievers Awards (Z.A.A) has announced the nominees list for the inaugural Z.A.A Canada edition with the Awards Dinner Gala set for Saturday 29th June 2019 in Edmonton at the Radisson Hotel.

The nominees list has been released onto the Z.A.A website, social media platforms and media. This is the first edition of the Canada awards as the Zimbabwe diaspora community in the ‘Great White North' joins the established list of Z.A.A editions in the UK, USA, Australia and South Africa.

Z.A.A Canada Country Director Simba Sithole expressed excitement at the upcoming event, promising that it marks a new exciting chapter for Zimbabweans in Canada.

" We are very excited to announce the nominees shortlist for Canada edition and this bears special significance to us and our diaspora community as this the inaugural edition and we look forward to recognizing and celebrating with outstanding Zimbabwe achievers around the world," he said.

The announcement comes on the back of the successful Z.A.A SA edition which was held on the 6th of April in Sandton South Africa where Z.A.A rolled out the honours for outstanding achievers in South Africa. The complete SA winners list can be viewed on http://www.zimachievers.com/sa/zaa-sa-celebrates-diaspora-achievers-in-style/

Meanwhile, voting has opened for the UK edition set to take place on Saturday 25th May 2019 in London at the Millenium Gloucester Hotel. The UK voting line closes on the 5th May 2019 and votes can be cast on http://www.zimachievers.com/uk/nominees/vote/

Zimbabwe Achievers Awards were founded in the UK in 2010 by Conrad Mwanza and recognise and honour Zimbabwean individuals and organisations who do commendable in the diaspora communities as well as back home. The awards now have a presence in five countries across the globe with UK, USA, Australia, South Africa and Canada taking the lead in honouring the achievers as well as honorary awards.
