Zanu-PF youths, armed cops evict family from its mine in the name of MP

What turned to be a fruitful morning turned into a tragic event at our own community mine. As the deputy Sheriff arrived with a team of armed policemen and with a number of youths coming from Kwekwe to evict us from our own gold mine. This happened through the influence of our community chief who believes that the mine is his.

What is more surprising is that there are using the party name Zanu-PF and our own MP tends to enjoy the whole ordeal forgetting that we are the ones who contributed to what Zanu PF is today.

Non the less they have brought factions to this nation cause we now believe that what happened during Gukurahundi its now being brought forth in a diplomatic manner. They are depriving us of our resources as the Ndebele people (I never thought I will say this in my life) hence accusing us of being uneducated only to discover that they are the ones contributing to our poverty.

The courts have passed their judgement in favour of us but due to that they are some Zanu PF  heavy weights involved the case seems to in favour of Ezinkulu.

Speaking out of anger and confusion and also with a bleeding heart I appeal to you Bulawayo24.com to publish this piece which I wrote with a shaking hand also with confusion on how I am going to make a living after my career as an artisanal miner has been destroyed.

As a matter of fact corruption has became the order of the day how can a registered mine have two certificates held by different individuals.Thats what left the bereaved community which has been abandoned by its chief,Mp and its own party, asking themselves on what really happened.

What has  comforted us and my fellow women and men is that time tends to heal everything, its only a matter of time the truth shall come into light (abadala bathi icala kaliboli).

We as a confused community our own resort is crime to feed our empty stomachs children will loose their great part of future which is education due to lack of financial support from their parents who have been stripped of their only hope which is Peace mine (TURTLE 54).

Please bulawayo24.com you have helped me once I will be grateful if u do again.

I am Ntando Tshuma an artisal miner from Silobela.
