President Emmerson Mnangagwa has been told to restrain his wife Auxillia following the leak of an audio clip where the First Lady is insulting a senior army official.

Auxillia is heard in an 8 minute clip accusing the senior military man of spying on her as part of a broader scheme to target her husband.

The conversation is punctuated with insults as Auxillia makes reference to the army official's looks and genitalia.

Respected human rights lawyer Dr Pedzisayi Ruhanya warned that Auxillia was treading dangerous grounds.

"Soldiers and state security agents are not your employees Auxillia. Stop abusing them. Shut up Auxillia and stop the nonsense. Big up to the ZNA member for being disciplined against stupid Auxillia rants," said Ruhanya.

"The security forces are not your property. Enough/Zvakwana/Sokwanele!

Auxillia says Colonel Murombo has an "ugly face", accusing him of "trying to get to Mnangagwa through me". When Murombo asked if he would be afforded a chance to speak, she yelled back: "Get away!". Now, Mr. President, this is not done, it cant. This woman needs restraint now.

"President Mnangagwa has a national obligation to put to order his wife. Her rants against one Murombo a ZNA member exposes deeper schisms in the party/state/military complex. This country deserves better than this Auxilia Nonsense. Grace did that against Chiwenga, ED, Charamba!"
