Econet discontinues Kwese

Econet has terminated Kwese Satellite services with effect from 5 August, 2019 due to Zimbabwe's troubled economy.

In a statement Econet group chief executive officer Douglas Mboweni said the company could not cope with demands by content producers to be paid in United States dollars.
