Cop 'steals' irrigation pipes

Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) officer Robert Boora (31) stationed at Chipinge Urban police station appeared before Chipinge Magistrates court facing charges of stealing aluminum irrigation pipes from Green fuel last week.
He was remanded to April 2 after magistrate Poterai Gwezhira granted him RTGS$5 000 bail.
It is alleged that Boora reported a case of theft of 6 meters aluminum irrigation pipes on Wednesday.
Boora was seen by other police officers at a roadblock transporting 50kg sack of aluminium pipes which he did hid in a bush close to the roadblock leading to his arrest.
