A Harare based car washer Emmerson Nheshe has warned the youths in the country to stay away from drugs and encourage them to start their own businesses so that they won't end up resorting to criminal activities.
He said youths should shun drugs and crime.
"I am a car washer and most of the time l am occupied with washing cars, youths should stop drugs because if these ghetto youths are not occupied they end up in drugs and stealing," Nheshe said.
"I have a small company and youths should emulate that no academic is needed in washing these cars but l am surviving so let us learn to work with our hands and shun drugs and crime."
Statics reveal that most youths in high-density suburbs are into drugs.
Recently Norton Legislator Temba Mliswa took his anti-drug campaign to the streets of Norton.
Mliswa received a lot of praises on micro-blogging Twitter with most users urging Minister of Youth Kirsty Coventry to emulate Mliswa's move.
