Zimbabweans in Dubai have told Government Spokesperson Ndavaningi Nick Mangwana that the government was failing to market the great works that were being done by President Emmerson Mnangagwa in rebuilding Zimbabwe.

Mangwana was part of the Presidential entourage that attended the Zimbabwe National Day in Dubai.

Said Mangwana, "Talking to the Diasporans who engaged with His Excellency today the threading theme is that we are underselling the President because he is so so great but we are not managing to package that greatness. They have a point. Such policy clarity is inspiring to the Nation."

Responding to Mangwana, National Patriotic Front Spokesperson Jealous Mawarire said, "So you are saying ED is your policy? Nhai Mhukahuru, hindava kuzvishoresa saizvozvo nhai wezhira? Ndokupi kwamakahwa kunzi having policy clarity = packaging and selling a president? Wenyu akapinda necoup iyeyi? Haa svodai munoshoresa vanhu veMasvingo Mhukahuru.

"ED stands for unconstitutional grab of power thru a coup, he is the chief instigator of Gukurahundi by calling people from Midlands & Matabeleland "cockroaches" needing to be fumigated with DDT, surely that is very toxic and a poisoned chalice which can't be sold to anyone with a brain."

Meanwhile, addressing the delegates Mnangagwa said the expo has provided Zimbabwe a platform to forge and foster strategic partnerships in various spheres of cooperation.

He also thanked the United Arab Emirates for supporting Zimbabwe during its time of dire need in 2019 when the eastern parts of the country were hit by Cyclone Idai.
