Registrar's car hijacked

Kadoma District Registrar Cephas Murumbi (54) was robbed of his car and belonging at Munyati turn off while travelling from Kadoma to Kwekwe last night.
Murumbi gave a lift to three unknown males at Battlefields and upon approaching Munyati one of the passengers asked to be dropped off that when they manhandled and robbed Murumbi.
He was ordered to run into the bush and they made a U-turn and drove off driving towards Kadoma, Bulawayo24.com has learnt.
The matter was reported to Zimbabwe Republic police Kwekwe rural and investigations are still in progress.
