Eight robbers pounce on Mukuru company

	Eight armed robbers allegedly pounced on Mukuru company at Mutora shopping centre, Nembudziya Gokwe yesterday around 3pm and took cash which is yet to be verified.
Arnold Ziyambi(20), Maxwell Moyo (25), Shepherd Chapanda(20), and Arron Mavhengere(26) were arrested while their accomplices are still at large.
A tip-off was made to one detective that someone had attempted to produce a firearm inside Mukuru shop, during that time he was being tipped off Ziyambi fired a shot towards him.
The gang then divided itself some got into Mukuru shop and others into Mutora pharmacy which is adjacent to Mukuru shop where they stole US120 - 00 from the cashier, Bulawayo24.com has learnt.
According to one witness who spoke to this publication and chose anonymity members of the public who were at the shopping centre pursued the robbers who were running away to no avail as they were armed.
During the arrest, one member of the public Robson Chikwature was stabbed on the nose with a home knife and sustained injuries.
Investigations are still underway to ascertain the total amount stolen at Nembudziya police station.
